Spring Break RoF (Ring of Fire) challenge…


Test will be on April 4th, and it’s a two part challenge combining cardio and juggling. Part I - One lap around the U12 field

Part II - 10 juggles (consecutive)


Both parts have to be completed within two minutes from start to finish.

The faster you finish your lap, the more time you have for juggling. Beware though! This will exhaust your muscles and, to juggle, you have to use your fine-motor skills. So, it’s all about pace and leaving some gas in the tank for the end.

If you cannot complete the challenge, you will have one round of 5-4-3-2-1s which is:


5 - 10 yd sprints

4 - 20 yd sprints

3 - 30 yd sprints

2 - 40 yd sprints

1 - 50 yd sprint


All of the sprints are done consecutively without any breaks and have to be done in under 4 minutes total.

I have put together a training program to be done during breaks, like Spring Break. It also includes a strength workout, soccer footwork, and conditioning along with pre and post workout stretches. It will help you complete the RoF challenge by keeping you in top shape over the break.
